Havana, Jan 20 - A total of 863 export and import contracts have been signed between Cuban non-state management forms (FGNE) and specialized entities, of which 42 have been for the commercialization of national products in the international market.
Today, the first newspaper founded in the heat of the Revolution reaches 62 years of its foundation. Some of its founders have been celebrating for almost the same amount of time; others, newer, assume with great dignity the historical responsibility of writing their pages. When Niuvis graduated in Microbiology from the University of Havana in 2008, she was faced with a tremendous dilemma: accept the tempting job offer at the Pedro Kourí Institute of Tropical Medicine, or return to her native Camagüey, where she had a home and family waiting for her. Nor is it that geographic fatalism has played such a trick on her. "If I had the possibility of working in a biotechnology center, which is, in short, the dream of every biologist and microbiologist, why assume the sacrifice of a rent and family separation". 12 years after that decision, there is not the slightest regret.
