Havana, 25 Jan.- A closing this Sunday, January 24, are admitted for clinical epidemiological surveillance 9,811 patients, 3,486 suspects, 1,768 under surveillance and 4, 557 confirmed as positive.
For Covid-19, 15,152 samples were studied, resulting in 567 positive samples. The country accumulates one million 793 thousand 383 samples made and 21,828 positive.
Of the total of cases (567): 511 were contacts of confirmed cases; 25 with a source of infection abroad and 31 without a source of infection specified in the day. Of the 567 cases diagnosed, 265 were female and 302 male.
43.7% (248) of the 567 positive cases were asymptomatic, accumulating a total of 12,849, which represents 58.8% of those confirmed to date.
Of the total cases of the day, 49 (8.6%) are linked to international travelers, accumulating 6,806, which represents 51.8% of the total cases since November 15.
The 567 diagnosed cases belong to the age groups under 20 years: 68; from 20 to 39 years: 195; 40 to 59 years: 195; and more than 60: 109 cases.
